Innovation in Refurbishment

Atlanta Aviation International introduces a revolutionary new process called AERO-PRINT.  This process offers exciting new finishes and capabilities not previously available with Vacuum Tedlar Coverings.

AERO-PRINT allows designers to apply the ingredients of contour, color, pattern and texture to almost any surface in almost any shape.  It allows three-dimensional shapes to be wrapped in any design one can imagine.  Your aircraft can stand alone, distinguished by a look that is totally exclusive.

THE AERO-PRINT 8 STEP PROCESS:

STEP 1:
The desired pattern and color scheme is selected for the interior refurbishment project.

STEP 2:
The selected pattern and colors are scanned through a computer.

STEP 3:
Utilizing the computer, a print cylinder is engraved.

STEP 4:
Using the print cylinder, etching inks are deposited on a carrier.

STEP 5:
The ink pattern is floated on the surface of a water tank and the component to be decorated is then passed through the ink surface from above.

STEP 6:
Because the ink is supported by water, the graphic pattern molds, as water does, to every surface of the component's shape.

 STEP 7:
A high performance polyurethane topcoat is applied.

STEP 8:
The panels are re-assembled and inspected prior to shipment.

Choose from an unlimited number of patterns and colors!!

AERO
-PRINT'S  DURABILITY

The proper application of a high performance topcoat is essential.  The topcoat's purpose is to protect the aircraft panel or component from scratching or marring, and to offer a high level of stain resistance.  Additionally, the panel topcoat is hard enough to protect the surface, but also flexible enough to facilitate removal and reinstallation of the part or component into the aircraft without crazing, cracking or delamination.
